More than one way to get to One Direction concert
The One Direction concert at Investors Group Field on Friday is expected to create heavy traffic around the stadium.
In an attempt to ease the congestion, concert-goers are encouraged to try an alternative way to get there.
As with Blue Bomber game days, the on-campus parking, Park & Ride service, and Winnipeg Transit will all be available to commuters with some key changes for the concert.
People are also encouraged to go a bit early, so the traffic flow can be spread out. Concert merchandise will be on sale starting at noon in plaza area outside Gate 2, where food and beverage vendors, as well as restrooms, will also be available.
The concert starts at 7 p.m.
On-campus parking
Advance parking passes are on sale via Ticketmaster for $20 per vehicle. On site cash parking will be available beginning at 3 p,m, on Friday.
