More record-breaking weather warms southern Manitoba

After 18 records were smashed in Manitoba for unseasonably warm weather on Thursday, more records could break today with parts of the province in the southwest expecting highs of 8 C, according to Environment Canada.

After 18 records were smashed in Manitoba for unseasonably warm weather on Thursday, more records could break today with parts of the province in the southwest expecting highs of 8 C, according to Environment Canada.

In Winnipeg on Friday, there's a risk of fog in the morning but the poor visibility should clear by afternoon.

John Sauder forecasts sunny skies Friday afternoon with some wind. Winnipeg could see southerly gusts between 20 kilometres per hour and 30 km/h in the morning then increasing to gusts of 30 km/h to 40 km/h in the afternoon.
