A 78-year-old woman, who was believed to have gotten lost in the fog while driving home in southwestern Manitoba on Christmas Day, has since been found safe, police say.

A 78-year-old woman, who was believed to have gotten lost in the fog while driving home in southwestern Manitoba on Christmas Day, has since been found safe, police say.
The senior was reported missing to police three hours after she left Brandon at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, and had been last seen in her vehicle heading east on Provincial Road 259, toward the community of Rivers, around 9:30 p.m., police said in a Thursday news release.
The woman's family members, alongside Mounties, searched for her on nearby roads.
RCMP later told CBC News on Thursday that the senior has been found safe.
