Winnipeg's McPhillips Station Casino is being dealt a $45-million upgrade.

Work will begin next spring, including the construction of an overhead link to the south parking lot, a new addition to the front, upgrades to the outside facade that include relocating an entryway, and enhancements to the Hudson Room on the second floor.

The work is part of an overall casino enhancement plan that began last year with Club Regent. Both casinos are owned and operated by the Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries Corporation.

A new event centre was added to Club Regent and opened in 2014. Work is now underway on a new exterior facade.
