Hundreds of people marched through the west central part of Winnipeg on Tuesday night calling for peace.
The Communities March for Peace event made its way down Spence Street, ending at Central Park with a community feast.
Event organizer, Michael Redhead Champagne, said stopping violence takes an entire city not just one community.
"We believe it’s going to take the entire city working together to actually stop the violence that is plaguing our communities," he said.
