A fire damaged a Winnipeg business and shut down the Louise Bridge for a time.

Crews were called at about 10 p.m. to Gateway Industries on Point Douglas Avenue.

The fire caused $100,000 in damage.

No one was hurt.

The cause is under investigation.

The business, which manufactures soap and cleaning compounds as well as pesticides and other agricultural chemicals, has been the site of several fires over the years.

In 2011, a blaze caused $1.5 million in damage.

Since 2000, Winnipeg fire crews have responded to 10 major fires and five minor fires at the same address.
