- Goldeyes
The Fish take on the St. Paul Saints at 1 p.m. Tickets are still available at the Shaw Park box office and via Ticketmaster. Doors open at noon and there will be activities for families throughout the afternoon.

Manitoba Marathon
It's too late to register to run, but if you want to watch others sweat it out on the route, it starts at 7 a.m. Here's a map of the route.
- Winnipeg Art Gallery
Drop by the Winnipeg Art Gallery between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to make some do-it-yourself neckties, using a variety of materials, as part of the monthly Family Fusion craft series. Fee is $20 per family or $10 per family for WAG members.
- The zoo
Treat dear old Dad to a fun family day at the Assiniboine Park Zoo. All dads get 50 per cent off regular zoo admission all weekend. The zoo is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Music in the park
The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra is performing at 2 p.m. Sunday as part of the Summer Music Series at the Lyric Theatre at Assiniboine Park. They'll be joined by singers Don Amero and Todd Martin. The concert is free to the public, and concert-goers are encouraged to bring their picnic blankets and lawn chairs.
- Oak Hammock Marsh
Participate in the annual Waterbug Derby and catch different aquatic invertebrates from the marsh between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. and win some prizes. Then treat Dad to a pulled pork lunch special in the cafe from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oak Hammock Marsh is open Father's Day from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
- FortWhyte Alive
Go fishing! Equipment rentals and bait are free all day (with admission). The Buffalo Stone Cafe is also serving up a barbecue lunch.
- Manitoba Children's Museum
Dads enjoy half-price admission on Sunday, while children can make Father's Day cards from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The museum, located at The Forks, is open from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- The Ex
Father's Day coincides with the first weekend of the Red River Ex. It's hosting a free pancake breakfast on Sunday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Gate admission is free during this one-hour period, with cash donations being accepted in support of the Red River Exhibition Foundation.

Live racing goes at 7:30 p.m. and dads can enter a draw for Blue Bombers merchandise and fishing gear.
- Casinos of Winnipeg
McPhillips Station Casino and Club Regent are both offering an all-you-can-eat baby back ribs dinner special on Father's Day. As well, Casinos of Winnipeg Club Card members can earn double the Player Points from noon until 10 p.m. and scan their cards to win Blue Bombers tickets.
