Police ID victim in Winnipeg's latest homicide

Winnipeg police have identified the victim of a fatal stabbing at a residence in the Point Douglas area on Thursday.

Winnipeg police have identified the victim of a fatal stabbing at a residence in Point Douglas on Thursday.

Rohn Abraham, 29, died and a 31-year-old woman was critically injured in the stabbing at a rooming house on Euclid Avenue, between Granville and Hallet streets, around 7:45 p.m.

Abraham and the woman were both taken to hospital in critical condition, but the 29-year-old died from his injuries.

Winnipeg Police Service spokesperson Const. Jay Murray said both victims were known to police, but didn't elaborate.
