He drives a 1988 Mazda truck on his farm and a 2003 Honda Civic in the city.

He listens to "all kinds" of music, including The Bros. Landreth, Until Red and Ridley Bent.

She listens to '80s music while driving her Hyundai Santa Fe and recently rocked out at the Lady Gaga concert in Winnipeg.

She likes to go to live music shows, loves to see her husband's band play and hopes to catch a few Brandon Wheat Kings games this year.

She last travelled outside Manitoba in July to visit her family in Thunder Bay and to attend a wedding on Vancouver Island.

Larry Maguire, Conservative

The separated father of two children hopes to use his seat in the House of Commons to secure a strong future for his seven grandchildren, he said.

After studying agriculture at the University of Manitoba, Maguire farmed in Elgin and held farm leadership roles in multiple agricultural organizations. He was elected to the Canadian Wheat Board advisory committee twice before he became a Progressive Conservative MLA in 1999.

He held his Manitoba MLA position until October 2013, when he stepped down to take a run at federal politics, winning a byelection on Nov. 25, 2013.

He loves to listen to '70s and '80s music, especially the Guess Who, while driving his 2008 Ford Fusion.

He cheers for the Brandon Wheat Kings and the Winnipeg Jets, as well as local baseball teams.

He last travelled outside of Manitoba this summer for his son's birthday in Calgary.

Melissa Wastasecoot, NDP

The constituency assistant for MLA Drew Caldwell, Wastasecoot is taking a break from provincial politics to run federally for the New Democratic Party in the Brandon-Souris riding.

She last travelled outside of Manitoba to visit her children's grandmother in Kenora.
