CBC traffic reporter Trevor Dineen said there were five piles of guts and an overwhelming stench at the scene. He advised drivers headed for the area to roll up their windows.
Crews were on the scene cleaning up the mess.
Drivers were warned to expect a 30-minute delay at the scene of the spill.
