Man assaulted after pair breaks into Dauphin, Man., home
65-year-old man taken to hospital after break-in early on Oct. 16
RCMP in Dauphin, Man., are looking for two people forced their way into a home and assaulted a man earlier this month.
The incident happened on Oct. 16 at about 1:50 a.m., Dauphin RCMP said Monday.
Two men forced their way through a door and assaulted a 65-year-old man, police said. He was taken to hospital, treated for his injuries and released.
Police said the two people both have slender builds and are about six feet tall. Both were wearing hooded jackets, one grey and the other black, RCMP said.
"This appears to be an isolated incident," Dauphin RCMP detachment commander Staff Sgt. Nolan Suss said in a news release.
