This interactive website uses real-time and historical data from the Meteorological Service of Canada to help you better understand our changing climate.

Wildfire season

Using data from Natural Resource Canada, the CBC Climate Dashboard tracks active wildfires across Canada. Before heading outside, use the dashboard to see how wildfire smoke is affecting air quality in your community.

Using the CBC Climate Dashboard

  1. Start by heading to cbc.ca/climate
  2. Enter the first three digits of your postal code to see conditions near you. For example, to see information about downtown Winnipeg enter "R3C". 
  3. Explore the map but moving your mouse and clicking.
