Exclusive Bus Lines will provide bus transit between Selkirk and Winnipeg starting in July, the company announced this week.

Beaver Bus announced in March that it will be ending its service between the two cities as of July 1.

In the spring, the bus company said an increase in carpooling and people choosing to drive due to the low gas prices led Beaver Bus Lines to dissolve the service.

Exclusive Bus Lines said it partnered with Selkirk Transit to takeover service between Selkirk and Winnipeg.

"At this time the prices are not being released as they are still in progress. However, in the coming days we will be releasing all of this information to the public," said Walt Morris, president and owner of Walt Morris Group of Companies and Exclusive Bus Lines, in an email to CBC.

The company will provide more information regarding pick-up and drop-off locations as they become available, a news release said.
