Driver punched in the face in Brandon road rage incident
Another man turns himself in to police several weeks after incident
A 26-year-old man has been charged in connection with a road rage incident in Brandon, Man., last month in which another male was punched in the face.
The man, who is from Brandon, was charged and released after he turned himself in to police on Tuesday morning, the Brandon Police Service said in a news release.
Police say they received a complaint on June 16 from a male victim who said he had given the driver of another vehicle "the finger" for honking at him for not turning right on the red light at First Street and Rosser Avenue.
When both vehicles stopped at the next intersection, on First Street and Kirkcaldy Drive, the driver of the other vehicle approached the victim's car, yelled at him for flipping him off and punched him in the face before getting back into his vehicle and driving away, according to police.
