Brandon man wanted for shooting rifle in house
Police were called to house after man and woman got into fight with three others who showed up
Brandon police have issued an arrest warrant for a 21-year-old man accused of shooting a rifle inside a house on Saturday evening.
Skylar Walter Cook, 21, of Brandon is accused of shooting the gun inside a house in the 800 block of 9th Street. A woman was injured in the incident, police said Monday.
Officers were called to the home after a man and woman at the home got into a fight with three people — two men and a woman — who showed up around 5:30 p.m.
A 30-year-old woman was charged for assaulting another woman with a set of keys in the home, police said Sunday.
Cook is wanted on a number of firearm and weapon related charges, as well as for several other offences.
Police believe Cook may still be in possession of the firearm that was allegedly used at the home.
Anyone with information on Cook's location is asked to call Brandon police at 204-729-2345 or Crime Stoppers.
