Blue Bombers bring back defensive back Evan Holm on 1-year deal

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers agreed to terms on a one-year extension with American defensive back Evan Holm.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers agreed to terms on a one-year extension with American defensive back Evan Holm.

Holm was scheduled to become a free agent next month.

The five-foot-11, 180-pound Holm led the Bombers with a career-high 85 tackles last season. He also had a fumble return, four special-teams tackles and nine pass knockdowns in 18 regular-season games.

Holm, 26, enters his fourth season with Winnipeg, having started 40 of 45 career regular-season contests.
