Born and raised in Winnipeg, Matthew Leibl joined Shaarey Zedek's clergy team when he was just 19 as Torah reader, bar and bat mitzvah teacher and keyboard accompanist. In 2010, he joined a local sports station as a broadcaster. For six years he balanced lives as a radio personality and at Shaarey Zedek before becoming a full time rabbi.
