A five-car pileup on Bishop Grandin Boulevard snarled morning rush-hour traffic in Winnipeg on Friday.

The five cars crunched bumpers around 7:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes near Waverley Street.

Emergency crews were called to the scene to pull the vehicles apart, and the scene was mostly cleared by 8 a.m.

No one was seriously injured, but the crash left a nasty lineup of vehicles, badly disrupting traffic in the south end of the city.
