Morden was the warmest, with a high of 14 C. Jim Hartry, who lives in Morden, said it provided incentive enough to do some landscaping.
"It was quite an afternoon. Actually, I mowed the front lawn and I had long pants on and it was so nice I decided I was going to do that back lawn in my shorts," he said. "I started doing it in my shorts and I finished it all. It was good."
Winnipeg reached a high of 3 C at The Forks. While that is warm for this time of year, it didn't break any records and pales in comparison to these Manitoba hot spots:
