The annual marathon saw about 14,000 runners take to the road in the Fort Rouge area.
The Father's Day celebration of fitness started with the Mini Mites Fun Run and a wheelchair marathon and half-marathon.
As the morning went on the runners in the 26.2-mile marathon, the half-marathon, and the relay exploded from the starting line.
The last to take off were the athletes taking part in the 10 kilometre and 2.6-mile Super Run.
