Wellington County OPP investigate early morning fire in Morriston

The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall and Wellington County OPP are investigating an early Sunday morning structure fire.

Police said the fire's cause is still to be determined

Three men were sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after their vehicle lost control and crashed into a live hydro pole near Highway 6 Saturday evening. (CBC)

The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall and Wellington County OPP are investigating an early Sunday morning structure fire.

OPP said they received a call at 4:30 a.m. from a passing driver who noticed a fire at a vacant building on Queen Street in Morriston.

Puslinch Fire and Rescue Services, the Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department, the Guelph Fire Department and the Hamilton Fire Department were all called to the scene.

Police said what caused the fire is still being determined.

There were no injuries.

Wellington County OPP, the OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit, Puslinch Fire and Rescue Services and the Office of the Ontario Fire Marshall Emergency Management all continue to investigate.
