Police search for suspects in Waterloo vandalism spree

Waterloo Regional Police are asking for the public's help in finding the people responsible for vandalising a number of homes with lewd graffiti in the Laurelwood area of Waterloo.

Waterloo Regional Police say they are asking for the public's help in locating whoever was responsible for a spree of vandalism in the Laurelwood area of Waterloo. 

Police say a number of homes and vehicles on Willow Wood Drive, Beaver Creek Road, Woodrow Drive, Pineland Court and Havendale Crescent were marked with graffiti of genitalia and other lewd images, as well as swastikas.

Police spokesperson Olaf Heinzel says investigators believe the vandalism was done sometime between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on Sunday.

"If anyone has seen anyone looking suspicious, doing anything unusual, we would certainly encourage them to contact us," said Heinzel.
