Loaded gun, fentanyl seized after stolen truck found at motel: WRPS

Two people have been charged after police say they uncovered a loaded shotgun and suspected purple fentanyl this week.

Two people have been charged after police say they uncovered a loaded shotgun and suspected purple fentanyl this week.

Police say officers found a stolen truck at a Kitchener motel on Tuesday.

Officers believe that vehicle had been used in a break and enter in Wingham, Ont. a few days earlier.

Police arrested the driver of the truck and the passenger.

Officers also seized a loaded 12 gauge shotgun, multiple rounds of ammunition, suspected stolen property and suspected purple fentanyl, police said.

A 31-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman re facing multiple charges.
