Kitchener's truck-eating sinkhole on Feb. 9 was the latest, and by far the most dramatic, case in a series of water main breaks in Kitchener over the past year.

The city has targeted the city's aging infrastructure, with a significant tax hike.

Director of Engineering Hans Gross describes the city's plan. And in his interview with CBC Kitchener-Waterloo's Craig Norris, he explained that sometimes a water main break can be caused by something as simple as nuts and bolts.
