St. Mary's General Hospital needs help with medical history

St. Mary's Hospital is asking for the public's help in identifying several pieces of rare, vintage medical equipment. It will be on display Saturday at Kitchener's Forest Heights Public Library.

Kitchener's St. Mary's General Hospital is asking for the public's help in identifying a number of artifacts from its archive collections at a free event this weekend. 

The event takes place Saturday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Kitchener's Forest Heights Public Library, where the hospital will put several artifacts on display in order for the public to get a chance to see them up close.

The collection includes vintage photographs, documents, as well as medical equipment, including uniforms, a doctor's bag, a Victorian-era microscope and a Second World War-era electrocardiogram machine.
