Overnight parking in Kitchener okay over holidays, unless snow event called
No major snow fall forecast for the next week

The City of Kitchener will ease up its overnight street parking rules until Tuesday, Jan. 1 unless a snow event is called.
Kitchener Mayor Berry Vrbanovic sent out the news in a tweet in response to a citizen who made the request siting no major snow fall was forecast over the holidays.
Good news, between tonight, and ending the evening of Jan 1/2, the <a href="https://twitter.com/CityKitchener?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@CityKitchener</a> doesn't enforce the overnight street parking rule unless a snow event is called. All other rules still apply and are enforced on a complaint basis only. <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/MerryChristmas?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#MerryChristmas</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/HappyNewYear?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#HappyNewYear</a> <a href="https://t.co/3pQGouNzaa">https://t.co/3pQGouNzaa</a>
