Kitchener rookie MPP, Amy Fee, will take on another role in the PC Caucus as Deputy Government House Leader, according to a press release from Fee's office. 

Fee will continue her role as the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Children, Community and Social Services with a focus on Children and Autism.

She is also a Member in the Standing Committees on Social Policy and on Government Agencies.

On her appointment as Deputy Government House Leader, Fee says she is "honoured to be appointed to serve as Deputy Government House Leader to MPP Paul Calandra. Our team has had a busy first year, and I look forward to us building on the momentum created thus far in getting Ontario back on track."

Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced the newly-appointed House Officers Team on Thursday, including:

  • Government House Leader - MPP Paul Calandra, Markham—Stouffville
  • Chief Whip - MPP Lorne Coe, Whitby
  • Deputy Government House Leader - MPP Amy Fee, Kitchener South—Hespeler
  • Deputy Whip - MPP Kaleed Rasheed, Mississauga East—Cooksville
