Kitchener Mayor Barry Vrbanovic is meeting with five other big city mayors in Toronto today, where they'll talk strategy behind closed doors as the final weeks of the federal election wind down.
Kitchener Mayor Barry Vrbanovic is meeting with five other big city mayors in Toronto today, where they'll talk strategy behind closed doors as the final weeks of the federal election wind down.
The group will review what the federal parties have committed to in terms of strengthening the economy and investing in transit, infrastructure and housing.
Tory and Vrbanovic will be joined by the mayors of Vancouver, Edmonton, Halifax and London.
Apart from transit, infrastructure and housing, the mayors also plan to strengthen the response of their cities to the Syrian refugee crisis.
