Fire at vacant house between Guelph, Rockwood involves several crews

Fire crews from Rockwood, Puslinch, Guelph and Centre Wellington were called to an early morning house fire on 3 Line in Guelph-Eramosa Township.
Firefighters received a call at 6:05 a.m. Friday. The home was fully involved, meaning crews could not enter the building.
"It was an old, vacant house," Chief John Osborne of Guelph Fire told CBC News.
Crews were able to control any spread to the trees and grass around it.
No injuries were reported in the fire, although Wellington OPP said the home was destroyed. The cause of the fire or an estimate of damages are not yet assessed.
Police and fire officials are investigating the blaze and are asking anyone with information to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
