GO Transit has released its new fall schedule and it includes new trains to Guelph and Kitchener

The additional stops were announced by Kathleen Wynne in June, but the exact details were only made with the release of the fall schedule.

The new additions are in fact extensions of existing GO train trips, and to the disappointment of some, are during weekday peak hours only.

Other local transit advocates questioned the lack of weekend express buses between Kitchener and Brampton. Mike Boos, with TriTag, sees potential to grow ridership along the route, but a lack of weekend options limits that potential.
