Elora Gorge body identified as Gerald Derouin of Kitchener

Waterloo Regional Police say a body discovered at Elora Gorge has been identified as Gerald Derouin, a 55-year-old Kitchener man, who investigators first reported missing in January.

Waterloo Regional Police say a body discovered on the banks of the Elora Gorge has been identified as Gerald Derouin, a 55-year-old Kitchener man, who investigators first reported missing in January. 

Provincial police announced the discovery of a man's body inside the Elora Gorge Conservation Area on Tuesday, saying that though investigators had ordered an autopsy, the death was not considered suspicious.

Waterloo Regional Police have now identified the body as 55-year-old Gerald Derouin of Kitchener, a man who was last seen in November of 2014.
