Drunk driver hits wagon full of hay in Wellington county
Wellington County OPP have charged a 33-year-old woman with impaired driving after the car she was driving hit a wagon of hay pulled by a farm tractor near Minto.
Wellington County OPP have charged a 33-year-old woman with impaired driving after the car she was driving hit a wagon loaded with hay, which was being pulled by a farm tractor northwest of Guelph.
The woman was driving a 2010 Chevrolet, though police didn't specify what model, when she hit the hay wagon on Highway 89 near Minto.
According to police the driver suffered minor injuries and also appeared to be impaired. She was arrested and taken to hospital.
The 33-year-old driver from Minto has been charged with impaired driving and having a blood alcohol content over 80. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on July 31.
