Meth, fentanyl seized in $15,000 drug bust in Kitchener

A Kitchener man has been charged after police searched a residence and seized a large quantity of drugs and cash.

Meth, crack cocaine, heroin, oxycodone, ecstasy, pot and suspected fentanyl with a street value of $15,000 have been seized at a Kitchener residence.

On Tuesday, a person was arrested in a Weber Street East parking lot. Following that arrest, a search warrant was executed at a Kitchener residence.

In total, officers seized 59 grams of methamphetamine, 21 grams of suspected fentanyl, 15 grams of crack cocaine, 97 MDMA (or ecstasy) capsules, nine grams of heroin, 25 oxycodone tablets, 594 grams of marijuana and cash.

A 46-year-old Kitchener man has been charged with 10 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and two counts of breach of recognizance.
