Simone Morrison, manager of outreach (education and prevention) at Sanguen Health Centre, is sharing her experience with COVID-19 in an effort to shed light on the infection and its side effects.

Morrison contracted COVID-19 last April. She was hospitalized and put in an induced coma. She's still living with some lingering effects.

She shared her experience and why she chose to get vaccinated through her employer's Facebook account to help people make informed decisions about vaccinations.

"I am in no way forcing any body to do anything or telling you what to do. Just wanting to share a different perspective," she said at the start of the video.
