A.R. Goudie long-term care home in Kitchener has declared another outbreak of COVID-19.

One person who lives at the home has tested positive for the novel coronavirus, Region of Waterloo Public Health reported Tuesday morning. This is the third outbreak for the home.

This is the only current outbreak in a long-term care home in the region. A recent outbreak at Golden Years in Cambridge was declared over on Monday.

There is still an outbreak at one summer camp, but there have been no new cases since a camper tested positive last week.

The region reports 42 active cases of COVID-19 in the community. Three people are in hospital.

The number of people who have died from COVID-19 remains at 120, a number that hasn't changed since Aug. 21.

The region's testing centres have conducted more than 70,200 tests. Of the 1,457 postive cases since March, 1,295, or 89 per cent, have been marked as resolved.
