Cambridge, Kitchener among Ontario's 25 'rattiest' cities
Cambridge and Kitchener came in at 14 and 17 respectively, Toronto is number one
It's a top 25 list most communities would sooner not be on.
Pest control company Orkin has published a top 25 list of what it calls the"rattiest" cities in Ontario, based on the number of jobs its crews performed in each community last year.
Cambridge and Kitchener rank number 14 and 17 respectively, while nearby Toronto takes the number one spot when it comes to rat infestations, according to the company.

The company also includes a number of tips to deal with rats without calling the professionals.
They include sealing any gaps or holes in homes with weather-resistant sealant and adding weather stripping to door sweeps in order to keep critters out.
The company also recommends keeping shrubbery at least a metre away from your home in order to eliminate hiding places for rodents and getting rid of any pooled or standing water to eliminate nearby water sources they need to survive.
