A promise of big money - no strings attached - is coming under fire from a group opposed to the Trans Mountain Pipeline expansion.

he City of Kamloops stands to gain $700,000 from Kinder Morgan if it goes ahead.

Barriere, Clearwater and Merritt would take in hundreds of thousands as well.

More than a dozen towns and cities up and down the line have signed Community Benefit Agreements with Kinder Morgan.
