Musical tells the story of residential schools

A musical about the impact of residential schools makes its world wide debut in Kamloops this weekend. We got a preview.

A new musical about residential schools was work-shopped in Kamloops. We sat in on a rehearsal.

Over the next week, a brand new piece of musicial theatre will be performed in Kamloops. It's called Children of God.
It's about the difficult issue of abuse at Indian residential schools and the lasting impact on survivors and their children. Right now,  the cast and crew are "Work-shopping" the show with rehearsals in the Chapel at the former Kamloops Residential school. Daybreaks Doug Herbert stopped in.
