The annual meeting is underway all week in Victoria.
Kamloops Mayor Peter Milobar and 7 of 8 city councillors are there.
One of the key meetings for the Kamloops contingent was held yesterday with Bill Bennett, the Minister of Energy and Mines.
The topic was the proposed Ajax mine and the first steps in laying out a community benefit agreement.
