Kamloops man recognized for teaching children science

He specializes in "Science Edutainment." For a while, this Kamloops teacher operated out of the back of his truck Now, Gordon Gore is being recognized for the Big Little Science centre with a prestigious honour awarded by the Governor General of Canada.

A prestigious honour is being given to a Kamloops man who never stopped teaching kids science.

The Meritorious service medal is a circular silver medal - a prestigious honour awarded by the Governor General of Canada. In Gordon Gore's case, it recognises a life spent turning science into entertainment for thousands of Kamloops kids. Gordon was a teacher for over 40 years. He is the founder of the big little science centre. It started as a passion for interactive "edutainment" that began in the back of his truck. We called up Gordon Gore to offer him congratulations.
