Kamloops firefighters heading to FireFit Games

They are world champs and considered to be "old" when it comes to the FireFit Games. A local team of Kamloops firefighters are looking for another big win in Alabama next month.

They are the current world champs - six firefighters from Kamloops

The team is the best internationally at the FireFit games.  

They've been top dogs three times, yet not a lot of us know that the contest even exists, but on the international stage of FireFit, these  guys are legends.

It's an  international competition that pits firefighting teams against each other in tests of strength, tenacity and fitness.

They've got another big event coming up.

We dropped by the Aberdeen firehall to see what the training looks like.
