Police release photos of possible getaway car involved in shooting of 7-year-old
Investigators believe driver was waiting while shooter fired on the house

Police have released photos of a vehicle they believe was the getaway car following a shooting that sent a 7-year-old boy to hospital in critical condition.
The child was hit after someone fired at a home on Gordon Street on Jan. 23. Police say he is still recovering from his injuries.
On Thursday investigators released two surveillance images of a white car they suspect was involved in the shooting.
"Police believe there was more than one individual in the car and the driver was waiting while the shooter fired multiple shots into the house," the service stated in a media release.
The car described as a 2015-2017 four-door Chrysler 200 with a panoramic sunroof. It was last seen driving east on Gordon.

The boy's family is working with police, but investigators say there has been "varying degrees of cooperation" from other people who were in the home when it was shot up.
Investigators previously said that at the time of the shooting, there were people in the home who are known to them.
"Police believe there are people who know what happened and continue to encourage those individuals to come forward."
