Man charged with human trafficking after Niagara Falls motel investigation: police

A Brampton man faces several charges following a human trafficking investigation in Niagara Falls.

Niagara regional police say officers conducted an undercover operation at a motel in the city and discovered a 20-year-old woman who was allegedly being sexually exploited.

A twenty-three-year-old man from Brampton faces charges including human trafficking and four counts of failing to comply with a recognizance.

Police say the man is currently on bail in Toronto where he faces additional human trafficking-related allegations involving the same alleged victim as this matter.
