Another worker at Lime Ridge Mall has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Bonlook employee last worked in the store on Saturday, Nov. 21.

A staff member at Foot Locker Kids also tested positive last week, after a city councillor, mall employee and shoppers raised concerns about the potential for the virus to be spread in the mall.

A representative from Cadillac Fairview says the Bonlook worker "acted quickly" and immediately contacted them and public health, once advised.

The worker's space was deep-cleaned, they said, and there will be extra cleaning to all "elevator banks, food court tables, common area seating, doors and stair railings, and all other high-touch points in the complex."

"At this point in time, public health is working in tandem with the tenant and property to ensure the safety of all occupants," the statement said.

Liem Vu, the mall's general manager, has posted photos of law enforcement at the shopping centre on Twitter, with a reminder for people to wear a mask, keep distance and wash their hands.
