Woman charged with stunt driving

A 23-year-old Smithville woman is charged with stunt driving and speeding after cops pulled over a vehicle in Stoney Creek doing more than twice the speed limit.

At about 9:30 p.m. on May 9, officers pulled over a VW Golf doing well over the speed limit of 50 km/h, Hamilton Police say. The vehicle was pulled over at Highland Road and First Road.

The driver was issued a summons, her licence was suspended and her car was towed.
