A rush-happy Calgary Stampeders showed they could sling it if they wanted to in the CFL's West Final. A pass-first Hamilton Tiger Cats squad showed they can move the ball on the ground if they need to in the East Final.

This year's Grey Cup will feature a pair of pivots in their first CFL final in the Stampeders' Bo Levi Mitchell and the Ticats' Zach Collaros. Neither showed any cracks in their conference final.
In the West final, Mitchell was forced to throw when the Edmonton Eskimos stacked the box to block the threat from Jon Cornish, the CFL's leading rusher.
In the East final, Nic Grigsby racked up a nearly 100-yard game on the ground, while Brandon Banks proved to be the X-factor with a pair of punt returns for touchdowns.
The two teams have a variety of weapons at their disposal. The Stamps swept the season series, beating the Tabbies in both regular season meetings. But it's hard to compare the Ticats of the first half of the season, with the dominating arm of Collaros and the late acquisition of a run game in Grigsby after he was released by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. They're simply not the same team.
That said, the Stamps have been a dominant force throughout the entirety of the CFL regular season, and Mitchell had a career-day in the West Final proving he can be a big game player.
