A 28-year-old Hamilton man is facing two criminal charges for doing donuts in his vehicle.
Hamilton police officers say they responded to complaints about a silver coupe with one headlight in the parking lot at McDonald's near Queenston Road and Nash Road South on Wednesday around 3 a.m.
They say the car was doing donuts and driving around the parking lot, ignoring lights and sirens from police.
Officers pulled the driver over after he left the lot and arrested him.
The car, a 2005 Infinity G35, was seized and will be held for seven days.
The man was eventually released from police custody. He faces one count of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and another for mischief under $5,000.
He is set to appear in court on July 7.
