A Georgia Peach marijuana dispensary that popped up Thursday on Six Nations has already been shut down.

On Thursday, the pot shop announced a new location on the reserve near Brantford. Six Nations police responded quickly.

The closure is the latest in a string of shut downs at the dispensary's outlets that started in Hamilton when police raided and locked up four locations on Jan. 24 and arrested 25 people.

The very next day however, Georgia Peach opened up a new location on George Street. But it also ended up closing a few days later.

On Thursday, Six Nations police searched the latest location and announced in a media release that "quantities of dried marijuana along with packaging materials and scales were located and seized."

A 51-year-old Six Nations man and a 53-year-old Burlington man have been arrested and charged, according to police.

Both men were charged for possession of illicit cannabis, distribution of illicit cannabis, and possession for the purpose of distribution contrary to the Cannabis Act.

They were released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
