Ted Bishop is the author of The Social Life of Ink: Culture, Wonder, and Our Relationship with the Written Word, and Riding with Rilke: Reflections on Motorcycles and Books, both nominated for the Governor-General’s non-fiction award. Most recently his essay On Not Knowing Cree was shortlisted for the CBC non-fiction prize. He lives in amiskwacîwâskahikan (Edmonton) on Treaty 6 land and writes with a fountain pen.
