CBC journalists win Atlantic Journalism Awards
Annual awards honour excellence and achievement in journalism on the East Coast
The winners of the 2024 Atlantic Journalism Awards (AJAs) were announced at a gala event at the NSCC Ivany Campus in Dartmouth on May 4.
CBC received 22 AJAs including nine Gold, five Silver and eight Bronze with work from all four provinces recognized.
Each year, the AJAs honour journalistic excellence and achievement for print, radio, TV and digital news in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador.
The 2024 Student Awards winners were: A class with the College of the North Atlantic in St. John's took home the Gold award, and Angela Capobianco with the The Dalhousie Gazette in Halifax received the Silver award. CBC was among the Student Awards sponsors.
